Asia University’s College of Information and Electrical Engineering has earned over 200 international AI certifications, including 113 AWS and 100+ NVIDIA certificates, boosting students’ global job competitiveness.

Asia University’s College of Information and Electrical Engineering has reached a new peak in AI talent cultivation! In just over a year since launching the NVIDIA certification program, over 100 students have earned NVIDIA international AI certifications—the highest among universities nationwide. Alongside Amazon AWS, Asia University established the “Cloud Innovation Academy,” where 113 students have obtained AWS certifications, with the number continuing to grow. Altogether, more than 200 students have earned AWS and NVIDIA international certifications. With strong AI expertise and over a hundred domestic and international competition awards, Asia University graduates boast strong international employment competitiveness, ready to meet industry demands.
President Cai Jinfa stated that amid technology-driven trends, sustainable development, and global integration, Asia University is actively building a base for AI talent cultivation. By combining smart healthcare and the big health industry needs, the university is committed to nurturing interdisciplinary elites. Asia University highly values students’ international competitiveness; those who earn Amazon AWS and NVIDIA AI certifications are highly sought after by companies and can secure jobs abroad with starting salaries of $70,000 to $80,000 USD per year.

Dean Xu Qingxian of Asia University’s College of Information and Electrical Engineering pointed out that current NVIDIA certifications obtained by AU students include NVIDIA Deep Learning, accelerated computing, and generative AI model training courses. These provide students with an internationally recognized professional foundation for entering the AI and smart technology fields. The college also promotes related AWS cloud architecture training. Just this year, students earned 53 new NVIDIA and AWS certifications, bringing the total to over 200, demonstrating AU’s cross-platform, high-intensity technical capabilities. Certified students come from the college’s Computer Science, Biomedical, and Artificial Intelligence departments, ranging from sophomores to graduate students. By learning the latest AI technologies and applications, they have accumulated over a hundred domestic and international competition awards, strengthening their employment competitiveness after graduation.
AU Chief Information Officer Lin Junyuan said that AI deep learning is one of the hottest and fastest-growing technologies today. Studying NVIDIA DLI deep learning courses equips students with broader skills in data processing and analysis, laying a solid foundation for their future careers. These achievements result from systematic training plans, industry-experienced faculty involvement, and cross-college resource integration. More importantly, AU’s long-term talent cultivation strategy of “integrating learning and practice” and “certifications as job-ready skills” enables students to obtain international certifications and demonstrate greater competitiveness in the global job market.
Dean Xu emphasized that AU will continue to increase the proportion of students obtaining international professional certifications, expand AI certification training, and help students transition directly from campus to the core of the global technology industry.
