Four Key Cooperation Focuses of the Meeting:

  • Integration of Semiconductor and AI Application Technology, promoting smart manufacturing and industrial upgrading.
  • AI Combined with Industrial Technology Enhancement Programs, targeting industries affected by international tariffs (such as Water Hardware/Plumbing).
  • Green Energy Technology Research Collaboration, specifically focusing on hydrogen energy applications and energy storage battery recycling technology.
  • Cultivation of Practical Talent: Promoting student industrial internships and collaborations between academia-care projects and industrial parks.

In terms of medium-to-long-term planning, both parties discussed jointly establishing a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Validation Laboratory, with MIRDC providing technology and partial funding, and Asia University being responsible for talent training and research promotion. They also explored the possibility of technical cooperation related to medical devices. MIRDC Director Chen Chung-Hsien is also scheduled to return visit Asia University's Semiconductor Center at the end of September to further confirm specific cooperation details.

This exchange demonstrates Asia University's determination to actively promote cross-disciplinary collaboration. In the future, the partnership will leverage both parties' professional advantages in semiconductor processes, AI applications, and green energy technologies to create a forward-looking and practice-oriented model for industry-academia collaboration.
