Graduation Requirements

Graduation Requirements Explanation

Credits: Students must complete a total of 128 credits, including general education courses, to graduate. This total must include 30 credits in "University-Mandatory Core Courses," 8 credits in "College Core Courses," 39 credits in the Department's "Department Core Courses," plus one main "Professional Program" of this department and one additional inter-departmental "Specialization Program" or "Interdisciplinary Program," or by obtaining a "Minor Specialization." Any remaining credits needed to meet the total graduation requirement must be fulfilled by selecting courses from another non-primary "Professional Program" within this department or from free electives.

Programs: For the Department Core Programs, Professional Elective Programs, and College Core Courses, students must take the course within this department for the first enrollment. Taking these courses outside the department is not permitted. Students who violate this rule must bear the possible consequence of non-recognition of the credit. For a second enrollment, students may take the course across different academic systems or departments only after filling out the Course Credit Recognition Application Form and obtaining approval from the Department Chair (for other details, please refer to the notes on the University's Course Credit Recognition Application Form).
