High School Principals and Education Officials Visit Asia University — Vice President Huang Leads Tour of the Semiconductor Center
On November 11 (Tuesday), Asia University welcomed a delegation of high school principals and education administrators to the A502 Conference Room. The event began with a warm welcome speech by President Jeffrey J. P. Tsai, followed by remarks from guest representatives and a group photo session to commemorate the visit.
From 10:50 a.m. to 11:10 a.m., Vice President Chun-Chieh Huang personally guided the guests on a tour of the Intelligent Semiconductor Design and Sustainable Manufacturing Research Center. During the visit, Vice President Huang introduced the center’s teaching and research environment, showcased its state-of-the-art semiconductor design equipment and laboratory facilities, and shared highlights of the university’s Bachelor’s Program in Semiconductor Engineering, including students’ hands-on projects. Through live demonstrations and interactive explanations, the guests gained deeper insight into the latest trends and technological applications in semiconductor design and manufacturing.
After the tour, the visitors proceeded to the Asia University Museum of Modern Art to explore the special exhibition “Connected Lives: Tatsuo Miyajima”, followed by a luncheon and networking session. The visit concluded successfully at 2:00 p.m.
Asia University aims to strengthen its ties with secondary education institutions through such visits, enhancing high school students’ understanding and interest in the fields of semiconductors and advanced manufacturing — and inspiring future generations of technology talent.
