A delegation from CALIN Technology Co., Ltd. visited the Semiconductor Center at Asia University on March 10 to discuss potential collaboration related to optics and semiconductor technologies. The visiting team included Manager Wang Shih-Kuang and optical R&D engineers Tseng Chi-Jui and Lin Hung-Yen. During the visit, both sides exchanged ideas on possible technical cooperation and future industry–academia partnerships.

The company focuses on the research, design, and manufacturing of optical components and imaging-related products. With extensive experience in optical lens design, precision optical manufacturing, and imaging applications, its products are widely used in various imaging and sensing devices. As technologies such as smart devices, automotive electronics, and sensing systems continue to advance, the integration of optical technologies with semiconductor components has become increasingly important.
The Asia University Semiconductor Center noted that semiconductor technologies play a key role in imaging sensors, optoelectronic devices, and integrated systems. During the visit, both sides discussed the potential integration of optical components with semiconductor technologies in sensing and imaging applications.
