To continue promoting early engagement in semiconductor education and to strengthen mutual understanding and academic alignment between high schools and universities in technology education, the Asia University Semiconductor Center has been conducting a series of visits to high schools across central Taiwan. Through on-site exchanges, the Center engages with high school educators in discussions on the promotion of semiconductor education, curriculum development directions, and student learning pathways, with the aim of gaining deeper insights into the needs and current conditions of technology education at the high school level.

On January 19, 2026, the Asia University Semiconductor Center delegation visited Lizen High School, a private high school in Taichung City, where they were warmly received by Principal Kun-Yuan Liu and members of the school faculty. During the visit, both parties exchanged views on fostering foundational semiconductor concepts at the high school level, the development of technology and inquiry-based practical courses, as well as students’ future academic progression and learning continuity. The discussion also provided an opportunity for both sides to share observations and experiences related to teaching practices and educational advancement.

Lizen High School representatives noted that amid rapid technological advancement and industrial transformation, high school education plays a critical role in cultivating students’ technological literacy and learning motivation. The school also expressed its interest in gaining a deeper understanding of learning pathways and talent development directions in semiconductor-related fields through continued dialogue with the university sector, as an important reference for curriculum planning and student guidance.

The Asia University Semiconductor Center emphasized that the semiconductor industry is one of Taiwan’s key strategic industries, and the importance of foundational technology education and talent cultivation continues to grow. Through visits to high school campuses, the Center is able to better understand frontline teaching needs, as well as students’ academic backgrounds and interests, which serve as valuable references for future educational outreach and exchange initiatives. Moving forward, the Center will continue to prioritize dialogue-based engagement with high schools, gradually deepening mutual understanding and exploring more diverse possibilities for educational collaboration.
