Asia University Visits Micron
to Strengthen Industry–Academia Collaboration
To further strengthen industry–academia collaboration and semiconductor talent development, a delegation from Asia University, led by Vice President Dr. Chun-Chieh Huang, visited Micron's F16 facility on June 25. The delegation met with Senior Manager Chou Chun-Ying from the Precision Smart Engineering Division, technical managers, and Human Resources representatives to exchange views on talent cultivation, campus recruitment, curriculum collaboration, and future cooperation opportunities.
The visit followed Micron's recent visit to Asia University and reflected the commitment of both parties to maintaining close communication and expanding collaborative initiatives.
During the meeting, both sides discussed semiconductor workforce development, student career readiness, and potential areas of cooperation, aiming to provide students with more opportunities to connect academic learning with industry needs.
Dr. Huang noted that Asia University has been actively promoting semiconductor education by strengthening partnerships with leading companies and continuously enhancing practical training resources.
Both Asia University and Micron expressed their expectation to continue exploring future collaborative opportunities and to jointly foster high-quality semiconductor talent through closer industry–academia engagement.
