Strengthening High School Partnerships
Opening Doors to Semiconductors
Inspiring Future Talent Through School Talks and Hands-On Experiences
Discover Industry Trends · Explore Professional Facilities · Plan Future Studies
Asia University’s Bachelor’s Degree Program in Semiconductors is expanding its engagement with high schools to promote semiconductor education and strengthen connections between secondary and higher education. Through school outreach talks, facility visits, and elective course planning, the program introduces students to semiconductor industry trends and specialized learning environments, encouraging their interest in science and technology.
Exploring Industry Trends and Semiconductor Education
Asia University Vice President Chun-Chieh Huang recently delivered a talk at Li Jen High School, introducing semiconductor industry trends and the distinctive features of the university’s Bachelor’s Degree Program in Semiconductors. Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating an interest in the field while learning about industry prospects and opportunities for further study.
Putting on Cleanroom Garments and Stepping into Semiconductor Facilities
First-year students from Erlin High School visited Asia University’s Semiconductor Center, where guided tours and experiential activities introduced them to semiconductor working environments and equipment. Students tried on cleanroom garments and toured laboratories to observe specialized equipment firsthand. The visit connected classroom learning with practical experience and broadened their understanding of the field.

Bringing Semiconductor Exploration into Elective Courses
Dali High School Principal Chung-Kai Chang led a five-member delegation, including teachers, to Asia University’s Semiconductor Center to discuss course content and teaching plans. Both institutions plan to introduce elective courses in Spring 2027, the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. The courses would give high school students access to the center’s semiconductor learning resources and practical learning opportunities, helping them explore their interests and consider future academic and career paths.

Building a Bridge from High School to University
The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Semiconductors continues to bring together teaching and practical resources through school outreach, center visits, and curriculum collaboration. By expanding its high school partnerships, the program aims to offer more opportunities for students to learn about semiconductors, discover the technology industry, and explore their academic interests, laying a foundation for the next generation of semiconductor talent.
