Asia University Hosts High School Principals and Administrators for Campus Exchange Event
On November 18, Asia University hosted the High School Principals and Administrators Exchange Event, welcoming principals and administrative directors from various high schools and vocational schools to visit the campus. The event aimed to deepen understanding of the university’s educational achievements and academic strengths, while helping students gain more valuable information for future college decisions.
During the visit, many principals expressed great interest in the “Semiconductor Design and Sustainable Manufacturing Research Center”, which is led by Vice President Dr. Chun-Chieh Huang. The center integrates chip design, sustainable processes, and cross-disciplinary applications, representing one of the university’s key areas of innovation and development.
Vice President Huang emphasized that the semiconductor industry is a critical national strategic sector. Through equipment upgrades, industry-academia collaboration, and talent cultivation programs, Asia University aims to provide students with a high-quality learning environment that combines professional training and career development. He also encouraged high schools to help students better understand the promising future of this field and consider Asia University as a top choice for higher education.
In addition to the research center tour, visiting principals explored the university’s art facilities, attended a briefing on academic affairs, and participated in interactive discussions with university representatives. Many participants commented that the visit was highly beneficial in understanding Asia University’s distinctive educational features, campus environment, and student development opportunities. They plan to share what they learned with their students upon returning to their schools.
Asia University stated that it will continue to strengthen collaboration with high schools by leveraging its research centers, advanced teaching facilities, and comprehensive learning support systems, aiming to attract more talented students to choose Asia University as the starting point for their academic and career journeys.
