2026 Asia University English Festival and English Contests
A university-wide English festival organized by the Center for the Development of Language Teaching and Research and the EMI Promotion Office. Students in this program are welcome to take part.
The 2026 Asia University English Festival is a university-wide event jointly organized by colleges and administrative units. It runs from November 9 to November 27, 2026, under the theme Play with English, Connect with the World. Completing designated activities can earn English Passport Card points for a lucky draw. Please see the official page for the full lineup and lucky-draw rules.
Opening ceremony: November 9, 11:10 to 12:00, at the International Language Corridor (2F, College of Management and Social Sciences), hosted by CDLTR and the EMI Promotion Office.
Other activities include a creative English photo-card challenge, themed book fairs, and English learning games.
Submission deadline: 5:00 p.m., November 13
Results: November 27
Open to undergraduates taking EAP or ESP courses. International and Local Groups; individual entries.
Awards: each group has first, second, and third prizes plus five outstanding awards. First prize is NT$1,200 and a certificate.
Submission deadline: 5:00 p.m., November 20
Results: December 4
Teams of 2 to 5 write a script and submit a 2-to-3-minute video via YouTube.
Awards: each group has first, second, and third prizes plus an outstanding award. First prize is NT$5,000 and a certificate.
